For Employers

A better recruiting experience starts with a better business model.

We didn't reinvent recruiting. We simply made a few changes that allow us to deliver more value, charge lower fees, and create a better hiring experience.

How Our Model Works

Traditional recruiting has worked largely the same way for decades. We identified five areas where we believed the model could be improved.

The comparison below explains how traditional recruiting typically works, why it creates challenges for employers, what we changed, and why our model benefits you.

Traditional Recruiting SimpleHire Your Benefit
Lower Placement Fees Traditional firms typically charge 20–30% because they have to recover the cost of unsuccessful searches. That means successful clients absorb the cost of every search that doesn't work out. Our engaged search model dramatically improves search completion rates, allowing us to operate more efficiently and pass savings to our clients by offering fees of 10–15%. Save 30–50% on recruiting fees without sacrificing service or accountability.
Exclusive Candidate Access Recruiters often present the same candidate to multiple employers at the same time to maximize the likelihood of earning a placement fee. In turn, those clients compete against each other unnecessarily, wasting time and effort. Every presented candidate is reserved exclusively for your opportunity for up to three weeks. You won't compete with our other clients for the same candidates.
Dedicated Search Capacity Recruiters often manage 10–20+ active searches because they only get paid when a placement is made. That means your search gets divided attention instead of focused effort. We intentionally limit each recruiter to no more than five active searches at a time. Your search receives significantly more attention.
Weekly Recruiting Reports Employers often have little visibility into search activity and typically receive updates only when candidates are ready to present. That means you're left wondering whether your search is even moving forward. Every client receives proactive Weekly Recruiting Reports throughout the search. Know exactly where your search stands, not just when resumes arrive.
Employer Brand Protection When employers hire several contingent firms to search, they often contact the same candidates, creating inconsistent messaging and candidate confusion. This can weaken their impression of your company and reduce candidate interest. One recruiter. One message. One coordinated search. Candidates experience one coordinated, professional hiring process.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the deposit an additional cost?

No. The deposit is simply credited toward your total placement fee. If we make a successful placement, the deposit becomes part of what you already owe. It isn't an extra charge.

What if the search doesn't result in a hire?

The deposit is refundable if we don't fulfill our good-faith effort and reporting obligations. As long as we're actively working your search and reporting progress, the deposit is considered earned, even if you ultimately don't hire.

Can we start on a contingent basis and convert later?

We occasionally work traditional contingent searches at 25%. Most clients choose to convert to a co-retained model, but that conversion has to happen before the first candidate interview.

What happens if a placed candidate doesn't work out?

Every placement includes a 60-day replacement guarantee. If the hire doesn't work out within that window, we run a replacement search at no additional charge.

Will you recruit from our team later?

No. We maintain a standing non-solicitation policy and will never recruit from your organization unless you've indicated the agreement has ended.

How is Exclusive Candidate Access different from a typical exclusive search?

Rather than exclusivity on the entire search, each candidate we present is held exclusively to your role for three weeks. You're never competing with our other clients for the same person.

How will we hear from you once a search starts?

You'll receive a Weekly Recruiting Report covering sourcing activity, candidate outreach, and market feedback, so you always know where things stand without having to ask.

What's the minimum fee?

$10,000, regardless of tier or salary level. This ensures we can dedicate the appropriate resources to every search we take on.
